Why it moves the map
Search engines confirm a business is real and located where it claims by checking it against dozens of independent sources: data aggregators, maps services, industry directories, the chamber of commerce. When those sources disagree — an old address here, a tracking phone number there, "St." versus "Street" — confidence drops, and so can rankings.
Consistency is unglamorous work, which is exactly why it's an edge. Most competitors have never once audited their listings.
What we do with yours
We build the canonical record of your business data, then push it through the aggregators and directly into the directories that matter for your category and city. Duplicates get merged or closed; dead listings from old addresses get cleaned up rather than left to contradict you.
Then we keep watch. Listings decay — platforms "helpfully" re-import stale data all the time — so this is maintained continuously, not fixed once.
